After years of trying to make this happen, we are finally in the process of getting entrance signs to be installed by Jan 2012.   We have letters from the owners & our ACC permits all in place.  Locations: 110 University Circle (at College Station) & 1085 College Station Rd (across from UGA bldg).   We have contracted a local artisan, Ann Hamlin, to create two unique eye-catching sculptures, made out of  recycled metals & wood.   The main part of the sign (circle) will be made with antique wagon wheel hubs.   The costs of the two signs including the permits, surveys, materials & installation is approximately $3900.00.  We are asking for a suggested donation of $20.00 per household to help cover the costs of the signs.   Send more or less…just know….This WILL add value to our neighborhood!

Not sure if you’ve paid your UHCA dues this year? We’ve got a list here of everyone who has paid for the current year. Dues are only $10 a year, and are used (frugally) for neighborhood activities, our newsletter, future neighborhood projects like entrance signs, and to maintain a “just in case” fund to defray any costs, such as legal fees, that might come up.
